London born but Dutch by heritage, my childhood was made of equal parts travel and music, thanks to parents whose charity work ensured they set up base in new locations regularly. Music and dancing were sizeable parts of my upbringing (although I learnt quickly that singing was not a wise choice if I wanted to keep friends around.) I continued to dabble in different genres of dance throughout my teens, but I never considered it a career path until after a couple gap years when I decided to go back to school and get a degree in dance performance.

Halfway through my studies, I travelled to India to study Vinyasa Yoga and Yoga Nidra with the thought of integrating the concepts into my movement studies. While in India, I realised my true passion lay in helping others rediscover the natural joy of being active! After I finished my degree, I finished my Yoga training, took courses in Mat and Reformer Pilates, and now teach all three disciplines.

I am convinced that more active habits make for happier bodies and calmer minds. More movement = more everything! Everything good, that is, and which means less room for all the bad stuff. Its made me happier, stronger, and more mindful. To my teachers who helped me discover this passion - I am forever grateful.

I'm excited to meeting you one day and learning how you love to move!

See you around!
